About the Role

Northrop Grumman is seeking to hire a Principal or Senior Principal Software Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity. This role is crucial for the development and implementation of advanced security solutions, working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and government clients to ensure the protection of critical systems and information.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and resilient software, applying best practices in software engineering and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including management teams, vendors, and public sector clients, to understand and meet security requirements.
• Develop and share technical and security knowledge with other team members and the organization.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in the planning and execution of cyber defense and offensive security strategies.

Must-Have Requirements

• Full university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Solid and demonstrable experience in software engineering, with a particular focus on cybersecurity aspects.
• Proven ability to develop robust and secure software solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams, as well as clients.
