Essential

• 3+ years of real backend experience, with your own systems in production.
• Kotlin and/or Java (JVM) with fluency in Spring Boot — or equivalent JVM framework (Quarkus, Micronaut) if you are willing to work with Spring — and PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Design patterns, SOLID, and clean architecture truly applied: you separate responsibilities and think about maintainability.
• You are all in on AI: you use LLMs in your day-to-day and want to bring them to market.
• Experience with REST APIs, testing, and teamwork with Git.
• Ownership: you have taken systems to production and kept them alive, not just built MVPs.
• Total autonomy to work remotely and solve business problems, not just tickets.
• Availability to overlap with Spanish hours (CET) at least until 6:00 PM CET (see "Hours" below).

Remote: It is important that your workday overlaps with ours at least until 6:00 PM Spanish time. In practice, for Colombia/Peru/Ecuador this means starting your workday early local morning; for Argentina/Chile/Uruguay, a normal morning start. You organize the rest of your workday: by results, not by the clock.
